All TV tests
Every test runs in your television's own browser. Nothing to install, no account, and your results never leave the screen you are sitting in front of.

IdentifyWhat TV Do I Have?
Identify the platform behind your television, which app store it uses, and roughly which generation it belongs to.

Is your TV quietly cropping the edges of the picture? Find out how much is missing, and how to switch it off.
SoundTV Speaker Test
Check left and right channels, sweep the full frequency range, and track down rattles, buzzing or a dead speaker.

These are in the queue. We would rather ship them properly than early.
Dead Pixel Test
Full screen colors to find dead, stuck and bright pixels, with a stuck pixel fixer.
Backlight Bleed Test
Pure black at several levels to expose backlight bleed and clouding around the edges.
Color Banding Test
Smooth gradients full screen, to reveal banding and the difference between 8-bit and 10-bit color.
Screen Resolution Test
What resolution is your TV actually running, and is it really 4K?
Calibration Patterns
Color bars, grayscale, black level, gamma and geometry patterns for setting a TV up properly.
Audio Sync Test
Find the lip sync delay between picture and sound, and how to correct it.
OLED Burn-in Check
Full field slides at the levels where image retention shows, with a guided way to inspect the panel.
Motion & Judder Test
Scrolling patterns and 24p judder checks, plus whether motion interpolation is switched on.
Getting the most out of these
Run them on the TV
Open your television's own web browser and go to tv-test.com. The site detects that it is on a TV and switches to a large, high contrast layout you can drive with the arrow keys on your remote. Run a test on your phone instead and it will tell you about the phone.
Start with the capability test
It is the broadest one, and its results tell you which of the others are worth running. If it reports no HDR and no 4K, a picture quality test is not where your problem is.
Nothing is uploaded
Every test runs inside your browser and the results stay there. We never receive them. There is no account and nothing to sign up for.
