Three more tools, bringing the total to fourteen: A Streaming Data Calculator, an OLED Burn-in Test and a TV Motion Test.
The Streaming Data Calculator works out how much data Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and Prime use per hour, per day and per month, from standard definition up to 4K HDR.
The OLED Burn-in Test shows full-screen colors that reveal a ghosted logo or uneven wear on an OLED, and adds a screen wash that can clear a temporary ghost. It is honest that permanent burn-in cannot be undone.
The TV Motion Test shows moving patterns that reveal blur, stutter and the soap opera effect, so you can decide whether to switch motion smoothing off.

Six more tests, bringing the total to eleven: Dead Pixel, Backlight Bleed, Color Banding, Calibration Patterns, Screen Resolution and Audio Sync.
All the full-screen picture tests now work the same way: Arrow keys to move between patterns, and Back or Escape to leave. The label fades away on its own so it never hides the very thing you are looking for.
The dead pixel test includes a fixer that can sometimes revive a stuck pixel. It cannot help a pixel that is fully dead, and the page says so.
Every test now points you to a few related tests, so the right one is easier to find.

TV Capability Test: Reads your resolution, HDR, video and audio support, copy protection and sound, and explains each result in plain language.
TV Internet Speed Test: Measures the real speed reaching your television and tells you whether it is enough for 4K, HDR or Full HD on each major service.
What TV Do I Have: Identifies which platform your set runs and which app store it uses. It tells you honestly that no website can read your exact model number.
Overscan and Screen Fit: Shows whether your TV is quietly cropping the edges of the picture, and how to switch it off on every major brand.
TV Speaker Test: Checks the left and right channels, sweeps the full range, and helps you find a rattle or a dead speaker.
Every result tells you how much to trust it, and where a result simply cannot be known from a browser we say so rather than guess. On a TV the whole site becomes a large, high-contrast layout you can drive with the arrow keys on your remote.
